ICLW Welcome!

After a several month break I decided to participate in ICLW this month. If you are new here, from ICLW, welcome! I am 16 weeks pregnant with twins from our second embryo adoption. And I have a three year old son from our first embryo adoption. Our embryo adoptions were each from different donors and we have an open relationship with both donors. You can check out our full journey HERE. We are so blessed to be where we are! I am glad you stopped by.

Right now, I have a gender poll going to guess our twins’ genders. Feel free to weigh in with you prediction. I'll announce the news early next week!

ICLW + 200th Post

After a several month hiatus I have joined back up with the August ICLW. If you are unfamiliar with ICLW, go here for more information. It’s really a great way to connect with other bloggers.

If you are here from ICLW - welcome. For a short recap of our journey, go HERE. Also check out the tabs at the top of the page for more information, such as my book reviews and my 30 Before 30 challenge.

As I mention above, this is also my 200th post. Maybe I should have waited to share our Exciting News until this post? Instead, I will just share some fun blogging stats:

Date of 1st Post: 8/4/2011
Date of 100th Post: 6/18/2012
Total Page View to Date: 25,272
Followers: 30

I started this blog for the purpose of connecting with other embryo adoption moms. I had been following the blogs of other moms for a while, but did not feel connected. Once I stared blogging I felt the connections develop and now have many acquittances and even a few good friends as a result. And, thanks to ICLW, I even have a few blog friends outside the embryo adoption network.

Thanks for checking in!

Welcome ICLW

Welcome! Glad you stopped by.

My blog focuses mostly on parenting "after" infertility. I put after in quotations because I have Premature Ovarian Failure (POF) and no matter how many children I have I will never be "fertile." Plus, we're not done having trying for children. If you’d like to know more about POF check out my page link at the top of the blog. You can also explore my other pages at the top for an overview of our infertility journey, which led to our miracle son through embryo adoption;  for a summary of my 30 Before 30 Challenge; and for more information about Embryo Adoption. And if you have any questions or just need some support I'd love to hear from you. I love comments and emails, too!

Again, thanks for stopping by & happy ICLW.

May ICLW & Offer #3

Hello May ICLW. If you haven’t been back since last month, we are still searching for a home and Robert is still looking for a job close to my work. The offer on the short sale home has fallen apart, but we have found another home that we love – we are in the process of getting the paperwork together for an offer on this house – I added some photos below.

If you are completely new – welcome! I am the proud mama of my 10 month old miracle, Leland, conceived through Embryo Adoption. I suffer from Premature Ovarian Failure and am finding along the way that there is a lot more to this diagnosis than just infertility. You can check out my infertility journey in the sidebar. I’m also a wife and a lawyer.

April ICLW

Hello and welcome form ICLW. You’ll notice that I am in the middle of telling a bit of a saga. Feel free to follow along or just take a look around. I am the proud mama of my 9 month old miracle, Leland, conceived through Embryo Adoption. I suffer from Premature Ovarian Failure and am finding along the way that there is a lot more to this diagnosis than just infertility. You can check out my infertility journey in the sidebar.

I’m also a wife and a lawyer. We are in the process of trying to move to be closer to my work. Right now my husband and I are each communing an hour in opposite directions. So the plan is to buy a house near my work, rent our current house, and pray that Robert finds a job (since he has to quit his current job in order to move close to my job). Right now we have an offer on a house, but it’s a short sale and we are just tied up in all of the red tape.

Trying to move is probably the biggest change going on in my life right now. What is the biggest change taking place in your life right now?
