Bath Time

He loves bath time. Every night before his last feeding, I bathe him. At first, this did not go well. When he had to get a sponge bath – before his umbilical cord fell off – he hated bath time. But once we could emerge him in warm water he loves it. He just relaxes while I bathe him. It’s really very sweet. This week, there is a new highlight to bath time – the mirror. We bathe him in a tub that sits on our bathroom counter. He just started noticing himself and us in the bathroom mirror. Some nights he spends the entire time in the tub staring into the mirror. Watching him discover the world around him is so wonderful!
